When I was a kid, no older than 6, my Dad and I put these lyrics together. I sat in front of his acoustic guitar and he played along as I helped him write these words.
I can’t remember the guitar chords because I can’t play a guitar to save myself; but I remember the lyrics. I’ve always remembered the lyrics. And that moment. I remember excitedly showing Mum our little ditty when she came home from work and being told “that’s a bit grim” - Dad and I got a laugh out of that.
